August 6 found the Novelty Senior Citizens meeting again for their monthly luncheon. Present were Dorothy & Denis Howard, Freda Bradley; Judith Rhoades, Diana Cheatum, and Marsha Pinson. Health department could not make it this month due to increase in COVID-19 cases in the county.
After the pledge of allegiance was recited in unison, Denis gave the prayer. Happy Birthday was sung to Freda. The cake, a banana split cake, was made by Carolyn Morgret who had dropped it off earlier, but had to leave.
August birthday celebrant Freda. Blowing out the candles!!!!!
After cleanup by Diana and Judith, Diana brought the business meeting to order at 1:25 p.m.
Minutes to last month's meeting were read by secretary. Marsha moved to accept them and Judith seconded. Motion passed.

and finishing the plaque.
2, Cornfest has officially been cut to only one day...and with no vendors in the courtyard. So the
Wreaths Across America project will not be setting up there.
3. Diana has been reimbursed for the stand-alone air conditioner she purchased for the Center. Paperwork for it has been filed at the center.
