MARCH, 2021 CARRY-IN

Novelty Senior Citizens met Thursday, March 4, for the monthly carry-in.  St. Patrick’s Day decorations made the center festive.  Pledges were led by Marsha with Denis giving the prayer before we ate.  We sang Happy Birthday to Dorothy, who celebrated on the 2^nd, and David, who will celebrate on the 6^th.  Carolyn had made the birthday cake, and delivered it earlier as she had been called in to work. 

  

Present were Kathryn, Judith, Marsha, Jim, Denis, Dorothy, and David.  We do have good cooks:  apple dumplings, beef and noodles, chicken and noodles,  along with several varieties of vegetables.

As president, Diana was unable to attend, as she had another business meeting to attend.  Kathryn opened the meeting.  Marsha read the minutes to last month’s meeting, and Judith gave the treasurer’s report. 

Knowing that Diana would be gone, we had signed up for coffee makers on Tuesday prior.  Marsha will make the cake for birthday celebrants in April..not sure if we have any now though.
