Family, friends, new and familiar faces enjoyed plenty of goooood biscuits & gravy with sausage. To top it off, fresh fruit.
Bake Sale: We had the cutest bunny face cake, angel food cake, an Easter cake with jelly beans, cinnamon carmel rolls, fresh strawberry pies, peach pies, cherry pies, apple pies, blackberry pies and mmmm... a hickory nut pie and pecan pies. Five loaves of white bread that went very fast, as well as the homemade dinner rolls and crescent rolls,

Wreaths Across America - A sponsorship program to place fresh wreaths on veterans graves in the Novelty Cemetery and Locust Hill Cemetery. www.wreathsacrossamerica.org. We have a fundraising page on this site. If you use the site to donate a wreath or just add sponsorship, you must include our group number and cemetery number. If the numbers are not included the wreaths will NOT be specified for Novelty. We also have American flag lapel pins for sale for $1 each and we hope everyone wears one to the ceremony and wreath laying in December, 2016.

Novelty City-Wide Garage/Yard Sale - The Senior Center will have lunch for sale during the sale. The date is yet to be determined. Also on an ealier blog post. We are making arrangements for those in the country to come into town and set up a sale. We will also be taking donations at the center.
Seniors On The LOOSE! Senior Day Trips - First part of May to Comanche Iris Gardens, Gower, MO. Date to be determined.

...With everyone updated on the local news, seeing their neighbors, friends, and family, we called it a day and wished everyone a Happy Easter.
We invite everyone back for our annual soup dinner, opening day of deer season, in the Fall.
